No, I don't think you would like sitting there watching folk examining your hard work.
A bit different if it was an indoor event, It is a good sensible hobby though hands do
stiffen if not worked.

Well it has rained here for a week now I bought a rain gauge and we had half an inch last night. Of course, it has come too late for a lot of the trees and they did shed their apples. Hope you feel O.K.

Yes I agree, sadly charities do seem to spend a lot on advertising I have 5 or six and I just donate at Christmas.

Donating to authentic charities is good. I often do but, as you can guess, it's mostly to animal rescues, especially for those who help dogs. I'll have to read your poem again before I can comment on it.

Archie is a great guy to work for food. I would too if it was a surplus. Wet conditions have a way of ruining outdoor events. Maybe the sun will surprise you and pop in for a visit.

Good Morning
I think running a fruit and veggie stand is a tremendous amount of work. I know the farmers at the end of our street hire neighborhood kids to help sell the products on the weekends. It's nice for the kids because they can make a little extra money and I think they get to take home some vegetables at the end of the day.

From the outside it looks like running a fruit and veggie stand is fun -
greeting people, making a little money selling healthy food. But there's a lot of exhausting work that goes into the prep and setup, not to mention cultivation and harvest. I'm thinking it would be more fun and less work if I opened a weekend stand at our local farmer's market to sell the crocheted hats and scarves I make to keep my hands busy and avoid over-snacking during the day. I could set up with just a folding card table and chair and a couple storage totes full of hats, etc. Hmmm.
