Pat, I have a separate shelf for my spices and I've noticed some of them get pasty, and then I have to throw them away. I'm not sure if they get wet inside or what but those always get tossed.

Keeping up with those "use by" dates in the pantry can be a job.
I find that spices tend to sit on the back of the shelf - those I only use once in a blue moon - and they can be a year out of date by the time I get around to taking inventory. Good for you, keeping up each season.

Hockey is the only thing that turns the TV on here, although yesterday we did check out the football game, and the Baltimore/Blue Jays baseball game. Hope your day is great!
