I really love skunks. Never saw a wild one before moving to Canada. Their lingering odour I quite like but prefer to watch them from a distance. Nurses nose probably.

Good Afternoon

Pat, it's funny you should write about a skunk today.  Roy and I were driving back from  Sam's Club this morning and something was lying on the roadway ahead of us.  The closer we got the stronger the scent.  Roy went around it in the road and we continued on our way but the smell followed us for quite a while.  There is no mistaking a skunk's smell.

Good afternoon

You gotta wonder if it was God's sense of humor when he created the skunk. They are so cute, yet so foul smelling. Itchy and White ears may not welcome the little stinker, but nature does seem to work itself out, so who can tell. They may make great friends after some time together in the neighborhood. Jimmy's momma had her hands full on that day. Yuck! Our humidity is down, but so are the temps. It is the perfect day to simmer a big pot of hamburger soup. The hubby will be grateful for the lunch accompaniment that will compliment his ham sandwiches. Have a great day!

I have often wondered, well I haven't really. I do today though wonder what a skunk smell is like. I know from reading these blogs that it is very pungent. I suppose once sniffed never forgotten. Although I don't really want a sample.
