You know I've never had a raspberry in my life? Strawberries, yes. Blueberries, yes, but never a raspberry.

Re: Annicita

This look to me like a sweet pea that comes up each year. A bit different variety to the ones we use..

Re: You are a phenomenal gardener

Sassy the tubers for these are about five years old. We have had mild Winters and they have survived being lifted and stored. I May not be so lucky this time but they are just too large to lift.

Re: It seems you're a master gardener - and fresh raspberries would be

Thank you Pat, I suppose one learns the hard way sometimes. I once remembered growing strawberries and thought I would enrich the soil so I plonked horse droppings all around the plants, much to the amusement of an old gentleman.

Good Afternoon

It sounds like you have your work cut out for you but there are some sweet rewards.

It seems you're a master gardener - and fresh raspberries would be

a sweet little reward for all that hard work.

I loved this line "those scented little sweets with the taste of violets, they bring back memories and past regrets."

We visitors to your Blogit page never know what we'll find - but it's always delicious.

You are a phenomenal gardener

I have seen your photos. Your plants and flowers are all big, healthy, and vibrant. Most of mine did well, but I still need to learn a few tricks of the trade.

Good afternoon

We only had a handful of raspberries this year due to the bunnies eating them all. I only have three plants but they should have produced a bit more.
