Re: Good Afternoon Goldiec
I expect the cat was looking for a home. I just saw on our news that we might get a bad winter. Of course, there are always rumours. We shall have to cover the dahlias although I think the wet is the worst thing for them.

Re: Ciel
When I first noticed it a few years ago it was just a skinny bag of bones. Terrified of
everyone . It could not have been very well trained because as if became tame it
came indoors and jumped on the table.

Re: Sassy.
I think a she-cat is best as long as she does not have to have kittens. Years ago we used to keep one kitten and drown the rest in warm water, as it was supposed to be the kindest way. One kitten was left as it was not good for the cat to have to absorb the milk.

Re: Kabu
I expect if I were Mr Graysome I would have learned a trick or two by now. I hope
you can get his special food locally. Happy to see you adjusting. Hope the sale goes through.

Re: Sea_Gypsy
Thank you S.G. Yes, it is not cheap to keep animals these days. I only worry if he goes off and gets run over. Plenty of rain today.

Re: adnohr
Well, adnohr we have about two hundred. What we do is insert an 8ft cane by each one and just tie a length of string around the plant and the cane when the plant is about 18inches high and another when it reaches 3 to 4 feet. Of course, if you have about half a dozen you could use another string or two. It does sound like you have those large heads, we do not have them as they do not last as cut flowers.
Poem 'Hush whisper who dares.'

That's what happened to my dahlias - they were all bent over after showing their pretty blooms for just a couple of days Someone told me to put chicken wire around them, or tomato supports, when they are not yet tall. We'll try it next year and see if that works. I'm not the gardener here - I just follow orders. And of course I love cats Is it me, or is this poem a bit 'risqué'?

Cats are tricksters, aren't they? He comes around sometimes and that's good. Your flowers must be so pretty. No watering then for them in the rain. Lovely writing as always.

Even a house cat like mr Graysome can be difficult to find let alone catch when he doesn't want to be touched.

Cats are strange like that.
They are finicky little creatures. I have always heard that they choose who will be their owner at their own pace.

Cats are such independent thinkers, it's amazing that any of them
actually deign to be domesticated.

I suspect your cat has more than one place it considers its home... or maybe it's route of comforts.
We humans all have our uses!

Good Afternoon
We have that one cat that the neighbor and Roy saw in the yard. I'm not sure if it has a home or not. I've never seen it. I hope your stray found another home. Good luck with your plants. They can be a lot of work. I just moved our plants out in the sun a little while ago because it's such a nice day.

We had four feral cats living underneath our office at Location B. Two have been trapped. Two more left. It is a job to do it.
