This has been an annual event, put on by enthusiasts, not professionals. Maybe someone in your area could get excited about organizing a Steampunk event or club.

Oh, do we have magpies! Crows, ravens, and others of that family, too. This summer for a couple of weeks I think they were breeding in the neighborhood--hollering at every disturbance! And yes, I think they'd be raiding the dove nest if they knew it was here.
Charlie showed me one last night: a biggish teddy bear with huge long bunny ears!

I wonder if you have Magpies near I have noticed one or two here lately . I think they are after the pigeon's eggs. Charlie does have somer good ideas.

I have always procrastinated about keeping a check on my desk duties. I would rather be watering those thirsty flowers or doing something for Charlie than figure and dollars and cents.

Good Morning
I love hearing what Charlie has been working on. He is so talented and I have to give him credit. I think he's brilliant in his own way. I could never make the things that he does. I'm getting ready to take the house plants out in the sun for the day. It does look like the sun is coming out. It was cloudy for a while this morning. I hope you stay cool today. Your temp of 95 is very hot to me. I simply cannot take the high temperatures. This afternoon I'm going to turn the air on. I was hoping cooler temperatures would be here but no such luck. I hope your day goes as planned.
