I think they schedule people on a sliding time slot. Also, it's a holiday week and lots of people are off work. Glad you're doing better and your foot doesn't hurt any more.

C_C_T, everything is so different now. I'm not sure what to think. Our doctors are still working but it takes forever to get in to see them. You have to schedule far in advance to get an appointment. COVID has sure changed everything.

Sassy, the temperatures are so nice this evening. There's a cool breeze coming through the window. I'm so thankful my foot is back to normal. I would not wish foot troubles on anyone. It's very painful. I hope you and John have a good evening.

I am glad you are pain-free. It is so wearing. It is a job to know what is going on. We do not appear to have any working doctors, only nurses. No use asking about feet unless one can get to the foot clinic.

Pat, it was so strange. I'm used to seeing people everywhere when I go into University Hospital. Now it seems odd to go in on the ground floor and see two people. The hallways were all empty too. I hope things get back to normal soon.

FSI, when COVID first appeared on the scene everyone stayed away from medical facilities. The numbers started to show an improvement and people started going back to their doctors. Now it appears we are back to square one.

I believe they're scheduling so that people are not gathered in the waiting
room but can get in and out with minimum exposure to others. I noticed the same thing at my regular checkup a couple weeks ago.

COVID has led to a lot of people avoiding medical care, even in emergency situations. I sure hope that changes.
