Well Ghosts are symbolic here.... either we confront them or sweep them under the carpet & pretend they don't exist or simply live with them....a choice one has to make.

Yes, it must have been a bit of a strange play to write. Folk used to be very superstitious, mentioning the unknown and illegal sex. When one is very tired I have found it is sometimes unnerving to see images that could be rather bewildering.

We are all haunted by the ghosts of past actions and errors--of the people who raised us, the people we were raised with, as well as our own: all those things we cannot or have not yet forgiven. I have found it easier to forgive others when I understood more about their ghosts. Self-forgiveness is the hardest.
