Sea Gypsy, they said on the news last evening that you can actually get your booster and your flu shot at the same time. They said the only problem was that both of your arms would be sore. I'm glad I went and got my flu shot. I would not want to get them at the same time. Stay cool and safe!

Kabu, when are your gnomes coming to live with you? I do believe they will be happy in their new home. When they see all the lovely trees they will feel right at home. Stay cool and safe!

Sassy, I think when it cools off I will feel better. They haven't reported any results on air quality here. I will be glad when our COVID numbers start going down. As of now, they keep going up. Stay cool and safe.

We have heaps of lovely trees here and the fairies are very happy. They are making friends with the locals but miss their Gnomes.

Good afternoon
It's muggy and the air quality is at a dangerous level. Our county's COVID cases are peaking too. It feels as though this will never end. All we can do is be safe, say prayers, and look toward better days.

Maryland's Board of Education is going to vote on whether to require masks in all schools Thursday. I think it'll pass.

Pat, I usually have limes on hand but they've been looking so bad in the store that I didn't buy them last week. I hope they have some good ones when we shop this week. I do love lime in my water. I hope you stay cool. Your temps are so high! Your temps are the kind that they have in Arkansas. Are your temps supposed to drop soon?

Majorly humid here this a.m. - our high is supposed to be around 97
but with the humidity it will feel like 110. Thank heavens for air conditioning. Have you ever tried squeezing a few drops of lime juice in your drinking water. Seems to make it just a smidge more refreshing.
