Mother had a garden. Short blooming plants in the front row, taller ones
behind them. In one photo of her taken in the late '40s, she's standing a few feet in front of a row of blue delphiniums that are as tall as she is. I had no interest in achieving the perfection she worked for, weeding was just a chore that kept me from a book, or a hike in the woods. My scruffy back yard reflects that to this day. But the frogs enjoy the little pond.

Good afternoon
You got some good deals. I love Geraniums. Mine have done well despite the extreme heat these past few weeks. I deadhead my Marigolds for maximum growth. They have continued to regrow each year in generous spurts. It is almost time to plant bulbs, so I am looking for September flower deals.
