I'm glad no one blew away! Sounds like everyone from the Mississippi eastwards had a memorable night!

The low temps are definitely an upside.

Hopefully, your neighbor's home did not suffer any wind damage. Hope you have an amazing Friday the 13th!

Good morning

Pittsburgh caught a piece of that same hell. Our yard was obliterated last night. We have spent the morning picking up tree branches, hanging our flags back up, repotting flowers that fell off of their pedestals, breaking the pots they were planted in, and we changed out all of the wet bird and squirrel food to dry. There were so many leaves blown everywhere that it looked like fall arrived early. We got lucky though, it could have been worse. This morning the squirrels, chipmunks, and birds are back at their feeders and frolicking about.

Good Morning

Pat, we had some very bad weather in Cleveland too.  Our heat index was 100 and that is just off the chart for me. I told my family they'd come home and I'd be a puddle in the middle of the room.  I stayed in the air conditioning for most of the day.  Thankfully we didn't get hit by the storms.  They seemed to go all around our village but didn't stop here.  There were so many people in the area without electricity.  Roy came home early yesterday because his work was without electricity on the west side of Cleveland.  I was so afraid we were going to lose our electricity and then we wouldn't be able to run the air conditioner. As of this morning, there are still a lot of people without electricity.  The news reporters were showing so many trees down all over the place.  Thankfully we were spared any damage at all.  Our temps are down but the humidity is still high.  It's supposed to go down by evening.  I will be very happy about that.  I hope you stay cool today and enjoy your day.  I hope Friday 13, is a lucky day for you.  So far we are good.
