I notice all these things, but have finally learned not to
correct the one who says them. I no longer care if others show their ignorance as long as what they say makes no difference in the scheme of things or is an obvious lie.

Good evening
I have heard so many more interesting grammar and phrase mistakes in my life. It comes down to what part of the world you happen to be visiting or living in. Nip it in the bud versus nip it in the butt have two very different meanings. Ask versus axe is something I hear people say quite a bit on television and I find it irritating.
