It would be nice if they eventually are antiques, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon. I don't have to tell you how I feel about rhubarb, and I imagine anything mixed with rhubarb would suit me fine.

Those are good uses for them. I think soon we will no longer need.

Re: "Pat

Well Pat I hate to say it but it looks like the future might be smokey and we would have to wear something similar to our old wartime gas masks. The pie sounds great but we are trying to slim I hit eleven stone today but without my shoes.

Re: Good Afternoon Sassy

Sassy I see folk picking blackberries from the roadside. It might of be alright when a few horses galloped by,but not all the exhaust and dust etc these days. I have one or two cultivated blackberry. They are rather invasive but they bear well.

Good Morning

I like fruit jams but my all-time favorite is strawberry preserves.  We didn't have to wear our masks for a while but now they are requesting we wear our masks inside of stores and buildings.  Our COVID numbers continue to go up.  It's very concerning to me.

The loss of bees has been a major problem. I'm hoping that trend can be reversed. We need them for food...I have a feeling masks will be held for a while just in case.

I bought organic blueberries which will get freeze-dried if I don't 'accidentally' eat them all first!

I intend to wear my/a mask every winter from now on. It keeps the flu away as well as Covic-19.

Good afternoon

Yum! My personal favorite is blueberry jam. I buy mine from the Amish village. My mom used to make homemade strawberry and blackberry jam. We would pick blackberries at the Lake of the Woods near Crater Lake National Park in Oregon.

"makes them finally antique" - I'll second that motion. Can't happen

soon enough.  Mama used to make strawberry-rhubarb pie, which was pretty tasty.
