I think food prices will go through the roof. Probably best to stock up slowly if one wants to save a little.

Pat, it really is a good day. We found our nut butter at Costco's and it was a really good price. It was $5.99 and I was glad because Roy thought it was going to be very expensive. Now I can make my overnight oats.

Sassy, Roy just brought in a big bucket of peppers! They look so nice. All different kinds. Your breakfast sounds delicious. I love sausage, eggs, and cheese! Our air quality is terrible today. I feel bad for your parents dealing with the smoke in Nevada. I hope you have a great day!

Good morning
It isn't too hot this morning but the air quality is horrible. My parents sent me a photo of the smoke in Nevada. It is hard on anyone with breathing issues. As for your dinner, steak with mushrooms and onions would send John into a food coma. Your house is going to smell heavenly. Your breakfast recipe sounds good. I love that kind of breakfast. Good luck finding your specialty butter. For breakfast, I am making homemade sausage, egg, & cheese McMuffins. Our pepper plants have exploded with an excess of produce, so I plan to make John hot sausage, pepper & onion hoagies.

Right now it's 69 in Louisville. We have our haze back....perhaps it will pull the temp down!
