Sassy, that is so true about the gnomes. They know when bad weather is coming and they will be back in the house before the first raindrop falls. My fairies had so much fun at their tea party. The gnomes were fishing so they weren't here to aggravate them.

Sassy, tomorrow it's going to start being really hot here and the heat and humidity will last for a week. I'm not looking forward to it. Do you put on bug spray when you go out in the evening?

Once I start a book the world recedes and I read until the end. One of the delights of retirement. My gnomes are inside now waiting to be wrapped and crated. They are squabbling with themselves and each other.

Your fairies will enjoy their tea party. I know that mine do. The gnomes always know about the weather. I believe that they can feel it in their bones.

I saw a van pass by today it had fish delivery on the side. rather unusual I thought.
Folk love homegrown veggies here I used to grow a regular supply, but the land was sold so I only have half an acre now and that seems big enough at times.

The thing I like about printed books is they need not be recharged
or plugged in and you can pick one up any hour of the day or night and it's on. Nothing like a quiet hour with a good book and a cup of fresh coffee.

Have you ever tried Audible Books.
You listen to them, instead of reading them. Kind of like the days before TV. People would listen to stories on the radio, (I currently own 623 audiobooks!)
