Good Afternoon
I'm so sorry that you had to deal with such unkind treatment. My first thought would be to file a grievance but then I was thinking about how much you love your job. At that point, it becomes harder to decide what to do. After I've thought about this and all the different scenarios I think that it depends on what you want to accomplish at this point in time. God Bless you! I think whichever way you decide to go will be the right way. I look forward to knowing what happens next.

I'm inclined to say you should follow your gut.

Amanda
It's up to you, if replacing employment in your occupation's available. The only thing's reference. Wait and do it later, after giving notice, if you want to respond then. God's blessing.

I don't know the laws in the USA but it seems to me that with the proper advice you must do something BIG about this.

Good afternoon
Your boss should have pulled you aside and had a private conversation. When it comes to filing a discrimination claim, it really depends on what was said, whether there were witnesses who heard what was said and if they are willing to testify or not. If it was a true discrimination case, you have a legitimate claim and should take a legal course of action. Good luck.
