Because it replaces employees, I won't use the self checkout. I've been going much less to Walmart exactly because of that. My pharmacy is there, so have no choice but to go once a month. However, the pharmacy is not self checkout - they gve excellent service.

Those automatic checkouts always seem to mess up unless one knows exactly how to place each purchase. We now get our groceries delivered a good service and very quick. I did ask a woman once if she was better off working or getting social benefits
She said slightly.

Good afternoon
This is a nice reminder to do the right thing. Kindness really does change the general attitude. It never hurts to thank someone for doing a good job and it probably will give them some motivation.

Good Morning
Pat, we have all the same problems here. We are always nice to everyone because I know how hard it is to deal with the public. Roy doesn't mind going through the self-check-out. I don't like it one bit so he scans everything and pays for our items. The ladies in the self-check-out section are always nice and I've made a few friends there. I give them credit because it simply cannot be an easy job. They are always willing to help and we really appreciate it.
