Ciel, I'm so glad that you've had rain. We have a very hot day here in Cleveland. They say it will feel like 98. I will be in the air conditioning. I just can't take it when it gets that hot. I've been doing my exercises for my Plantar Fasciitis. They really seem to be helping along with the medicine. I'm glad I went to a specialist. We've had a lot of fireworks around us. In the middle of the night, a noise woke me up and I didn't know what it was. I got up and went into the kitchen and then I could hear the fireworks going off. The air conditioner in the bedroom muffles everything. I'm always afraid those embers from the fireworks could start a fire. I hope you have a good day. In a little while, I'm going to make baked beans. They are a family favorite.
I really admire the fact that you and Charlie are so willing to help friends. It is wonderful. I wish more people could be like this.

Nice to have the rain, hail not so good. have not heard many bangers lately although I thought we might as the football progresses.

I like the rain you've had - I know fire danger is high there.
Having grown up in the foothills of the Cascades in the evergreen state, I have a hate-hate relationship with forest fires... Enjoy your Independence Day, be safe.

Good evening
Happy 4th of July. The boomers have been going steady here for the past three days. I live next door to a boat club, so the marina is filled with partiers this time of year. Class "c", consumer-grade fireworks are legal here, so people really go all out. I do not mind the annual display, but the round-the-clock noise is hard on those who need sleep for work.
