I can't imagine what it was like for you! We got hit at Pearl Harbor....but that was so far away from our mainland!

It was that little stretch of water that no doubt saved us and the USA .We were all adjusting to being invading. I know it was terrible at Pearl Harbour.

Some things of the past have just vanished... even the pots and pans are not the same and no one gets them repaired these days....its all use & throw. Nice poem.🌺🌸

Thank you for the trip back in time. I remember when tinkers

traveled door to door and mended things, when I was very young and pots and pans were scarce because of the war effort. It's like a whole different world now, where we throw away stuff just because something new has come along.
