Good Afternoon
Pat, how nice that you had a chance to talk to someone that knew your friend. I'm so sorry that she passed away. I love chance encounters like this. When you walk away you feel happy that you met in the store. I never realized how hard it is for people to learn our language. I've been reading more and more about this. I wonder if there are classes for people when they first come to the U.S. to learn English? They should be free for those that want them.

How nice to see her. Yes, our kids become our parents, it seems. Yesterday my daughter said to me, “Mom, no! Do you know how bad that is for you?“ Uh, who do you think taught her? Then she quickly said she was sorry. It was mayo.

How nice just to meet again even if you did not recognise her. I am sure she went away feeling much happier than before.

So sorry for the loss of your friend.
As for your campus workdays, you and your friend fell into the "it's a small world," category. I love it when those connections happen.

Good morning
I have heard that before regarding Sesame Street. Moving to a new country is hard enough, learning the language would be an entirely new set of issues.
