Re: CCT,

Sometimes, it takes a stranger to see kindly the one who drives everyone who knows them bonkers! It helps for one's vision not to be filtered through memories.

Re: Pat,

No doubt the cats get together with snark and judgements, but not at that table!

Re: Goldiec,

So much has happened that we had no idea was coming--even if certain people in government, corporate commerce, and science knew long ago that it could, and that we were not ready. What we do have is our relationships, family and friends, and all we've made of our lives so far, and our ability to roll with the punches, and make course corrections as needed.

You have a great ability to let go of what brings you down, and claim what elevates you!

Sadly the chair comes sooner than one thinks possible. At a certain age, all women become loveable. Although the occasional one would drive anyone bonkers.

Your poem brought to life a picture of those ladies, the smiles and the

leaning forward to whisper certain words. I can see them eyeing the girl. And of course the last line says it all!  Nice work!

Good Morning

Ciel, I love this!  I've never thought much about age and I do love to visit with my friends.  My thinking has changed since the pandemic came along.  I think I watched the Governor too many times talking about COVID.  He was always talking about sickness and death and it really started worrying me.  I'm trying to reset my thinking but it's hard now that they are talking about these variants.  I'm determined to put this pandemic behind me if the world will let me.  I would say that overall I have a very good outlook on life but then throw in this curveball that we've all been subjected to and the state of the world at the present moment and I have to step back and regroup to find my peaceful place in life.
