Mr. Zevenbergen, my sophomore business practices teacher, wore a
bow tie and hornrimmed glasses - he was tall and skinny and prim. Not many of the MHS schoolgirls dreamed of hitting on him. I like seeing Young Sheldon in a tie, it just suits him - and any time someone goes to great pains to look sharply dressed, it's candy for the eyes.

I am really one of the golden girls these days. I find the top picture very early 70's and looks great and i love bow ties and cravats.

My freshman high school teacher Mr. Dell wore them frequently. I consider them stylish.
