The violence that these rallies cause has to be stopped.
We will never know peace until we calm down and stop the hateful actions of ignorant people.

Good afternoon
Union Station in St. Louis was one of our big stops when we traveled by train from Pittsburgh to Reno. Your sis lives about four hours from where I lived from 1973 to 1981. Klamath Falls, Oregon is much closer to the California border. My uncle and a few cousins still live there, and my parents are just across the Nevada border. The heat outdoors is unbearable. Thank goodness for air-conditioning.

Re: Sea Gypsy
We're having alternating storms with high winds and pelting rain, and lots of heat - around 90 today. I do have A/C thank heavens - got a new furnace and air conditioner put in last December. I am in the mid-Mississippi valley, my siblings and many other relatives live in the Pacific NW - where they're not used to this extreme heat. half the people there don't have air conditioning or need it 90% of the time.

I saw on the news how hot it is in the Pacific NW. they never cover Alaska. It’s been iin the 80s there and they also are prone to have wildfires. I’m glad your family has A/C. Do you? It’s been record-breaking inksnd here ur so far mild here. However, we will get monsoon rain, thunder and lightening later in the week.

Pat is has turned quite cool here but the wind does dry the soil very quickly I have a few strawberry plants in containers and they were drooping although we keep getting splashes of rain. We haven't air conditioning, of course, it might change but I sort of feel that we are in for a wet summer.

Good Afternoon
Pat, it's really hot here and we are expecting a week of these temperatures. Roy's putting in a new air conditioner in the bedroom. Of course on the hottest night so far the air conditioner went kaput! This is always the way it is. I'm not fond of this heat.
