It is most unpleasant to pay for food and have to endure badly behaved kids...although just occassionally one is Autistic and then I really feel for the parents for how do you take a child that really has no comprehension of others, out anywhere.

Good Afternoon
I believe that parents should keep their children under control. If they can't do it then there is something terribly wrong with their parenting skills.

We were at Giant Eagle yesterday...
My hubby was getting his 2nd vaccination for COVID when a toddler came running past us, screaming. His mother was nowhere to be found. A few seconds later, she appeared in a leisurely fashion, with her loaded buggy, mozying around the corner from another aisle. In the meantime, she showed no worries as to where her little hellion might be or what he might be doing. He was tearing a display case apart that was holding bath scrubbies. He wanted the blue one, but when she told him no. That is when all hell broke loose. She let him do his thing and continued shopping while the rest of us rubbed our temples, attempting to relieve the sudden headache that appeared out of nowhere.

Parents who let their kids act up in public are missing the boat. My mother
once (or sometimes) said a parent's job is to make their kids lovable to others.
