No. I really liked him from his role as Cousin Roy on The Beverly Hillbillies. Playing Orange Blossom Special, to co-hosting Hee Haw of the Lawrence Welk-Hee Haw counter revolution, moving from CBS to syndication, and the ballads. He was a Christian.
