As an ordinary citizen i’d Keep my mouth shut personally, but billionaires might need to disclose to whom they actually donate.
it’s all a matter of preference for most folks.

I feel it's up to the person either way. Some like to bring it up. Others don't. I guess what matters most is if the government knows come tax time.
