We have , well I have three green bins for green waste one grey bin for rubbish one
blue bin for recycled materials one bin for glass bottles and jars. And one small bin
for Kitchen waste. They have to be put out before 6am on alternative weeks.
The food waste bin is collected weekly. A day later on Holidays.

Smart move. We do the same although we only have one waste container that is usually only half full.

FSI, I do the same as you. Our garbage trucks come at all different hours. Sometimes very early in the morning and sometimes very late. I would never want to take the chance of not getting the cans picked up on time.
