Re: Re: Ciel
From the evidence so far, vaccinated people are pretty safe from the new variants, and non-vaccinated are at greater risk than before.

Re: FS
Hope you are right FS. The trouble is the different variants keep appearing here. We don't know if the 21st when it was all supposed to be back to usual, will happen now,

Re: Sea_Gypsy
Yes we shall have to see S.G a pity a mask cannot be produced cheaply that would stop the virus.

Re: Ciel
I suppose it may be seen as [polite in some places to wear a mask not for one's own protection, but to avoid passing such normal maladies as summer colds . I now wear one when vacuuming or moving dry dusty weeds etc. The problem here is new variants appear to be appearing.

Now that the threat of covid is diminishing here, masks are being put away, but now we are used to seeing and wearing them, many I know plan to keep them handy for flu season and other times of close contact with crowds.
Yesterday my friend and I ate at a restaurant--one of the things I most welcome back!--and the manager was going around masked because the company policy insists, but he pulled it down to converse--which, of course, totally negates the point of the masking. His reasoning is that it is more personal and friendly towards the customers. He's right, of course, about that. And he's vaccinated, so the mask really is extraneous as the evidence so far is that the vaccinated are not likely to get the covid, and can't pass the bug along passively.
Stay well, and keep watered, too!

A good and interesting poem that found intriguing. Hope your mask rule ends. I can understand you wearing one in the yard with polllen and dust, but it does cut oxygen.

Very interesting to watch the development of "The Primrose" poem...
Nice work. I hope the rat soon leaves your neighborhood, but as long as there is anything to attract him, he will linger. They are not easily discouraged.

Good Afternoon
I hope soon we don't have to worry about COVID. I hope the rat doesn't come by your place. That would not be good!
