There is a lot of push in America to do away with plastic bags at grocery stores (except when buying them). I think Wal-Mart is going to get away from them. Ordering delivery has become popular but is not government mandated...The sparrow has found a way to eat well.

Re: Goldiec
Yes it was all in plastic bags they were wet but it did not soak into everything. I did not mind the tinned stuff being sticky.

Well, one has to be on the spot to take the groceries. Not much is left on the doorstep. Yes, I am not a big fan of spiders, they get in our smoke alarms and stop them from working properly. We have lots of little ones I have been bitten by one of those little Bs.

Re: Kabu
I would have done if it had been cleaning products. Yes, I know you are a tough cookie. But a little gem all the same.

Re: Amazon is now testing "Drone Deliveries for your home".
Don't fancy that Corbin might be O.K in secluded places. We get delivery the next day mostly.

Amazon is now testing "Drone Deliveries for your home".
Amazon is now testing "Drone Deliveries for your home". When you join the program they send you a round target to put in your yard. You get a call informing you when the order when a drone arrives!

I think I would have sent everything back as well but then you have to wait for another delivery. No deliveries here so I collect a couple of weeks worth each time I go into town.

As much as I love seafood, I am not a fan of caviar.
I am sure that the birds would love it though.

Good afternoon
Yeah, wet groceries are not fun. I am sorry that you dealt with this. Live and learn.

I am hoping to continue to be able to pick up my own groceries
for the forseeable future, we have "porch pirates" around who take packages and deliveries off the porch before the homeowner realizes they've been left. I love the poem, the sparrows and the flies - it's all magic.

I'm so sorry the bottle of wine broke and soaked your crates. Did everything get sticky? For this reason, I guess it is better if you order early. It's never fun to clean up a mess. If you had bread in one of the crates the plastic would have been a mess.
