Wow! Our deer trust Roy because he always takes bread to the woods. If he doesn't go back for a few days they come up to the house looking for him. Before we had the fence around the patio they would come up to the windows looking for him.

I don't think I'd encourage him to stay. Making him trust humans can
be dangerous to his survival especially during hunting season.
