No concert tonight. The rain just would not stop. I am crossing my fingers for next week. The kids are on their way to have subs with us, so the night is not a total loss.

I have only seen one Bumble Bee and no hummingbird yet. But then I have lots of Monarch Butterflies. What a weird year this is in every way.

Sassy, I'm going to tell Roy your hummingbirds haven't been around much just like ours. We always change the water and sugar too. I look forward to seeing the pictures from the concert and dancing in the street. Are all the kids coming over?

Corbin, we do not have a cat. We used to have 5 dogs but slowly they passed and we don't have any animals now. My daughter would like to have a dog though. We had an Akita, a German shepherd, a couple mixed pooches, and a border collie. They were awesome! Our Akita's name was Brutus and he loved perfume. If I was wearing perfume he would just come up to me and smell it. It was adorable. I was his favorite person because of my perfume. Our border collie was awesome! Her name was Chia. She only liked girl dogs. She had a terrible attitude toward males. Our German shepherd was always guarding us. His name was Porchie and we all loved him so much. We are dog lovers.

C_C_T, I would imagine all the outside critters are missing the trees. There's plenty more for them to climb if they want to. The ones that were cut down were between 35 feet and 40 ft. high. They were really big. We still have the stumps and they are huge.

Pat, at certain times during the day they are all out running around, and then I think they rest for a while in the shade. As far as the chipmunks they are always out running around.

Good morning
I hope that Ro feels better. Sinus infections are rough. As for the Hummingbirds, ours haven't been visiting lately either even though I give them fresh sugar water weekly. The kids are coming for a visit today, and hopefully if the rain holds off, our town is having the live concert and dancing in the street once again.

Hello, do you think they are missing the trees that were cut down? I still wear a mask if doing outside jobs . A lot of dust around I expect. Dull here due to the partial eclipse of the Sun.
