I don't cut my flowers. My concept is to grow a garden with Gnomes and fairies surrounded by greenery and flowers of all colors and styles.

Oh! dear Pat. I hardly read the poem before reprinting it .. One has to suss up to such disappointments, As one looks back it is hardly credible .. Sunflowers always sell. As I have said before Archie and his wife to contribute to worthy charities.
I more or less these days grow my favourites. Also, I like to take flowers to neighbours of course last year was too depressing.

Re: Sassyass
Sassy some carry the images and find them hard to dispel. Especially if they have been abused early in life and cannot connect the trauma.

I would not have them for myself. Although one has to grow what folk like, It is a bit tiring as you can guess. I try to keep involved, you know how it is.

Re: C.C.TBill
Yes sounds great Bill, the price of plants is much too high here. We have to grow our own.

Re: Ciel
I must admit it is not one of my favourite chores. The Zinnias we planted and watered in yesterday were drooping this morning. It took another dose of water to perk them up.

It's the daily, constant watering and the accusatory hang-dog look of too-dry plantings that finally discourages my gardening and raises the issue of guilt...

So nice for you and Archie. There's a pot at the end of the driveway of the basset hound's house. Mrs. Sun had one in the yard last year. At the supermarket, believe it or not, a hanging basket's offered for $8.99 if that's the way a person without room can have them sir.

Good Evening
I love sunflowers. I especially like the really big ones. I think that some of the best books are written about love that was one-sided.

Those are some sad images. Unfortunately, we all experience them at one time or another. Such as life.

Good afternoon
I love sunflowers. We planted five of them, but the squirrels and groundhogs keep digging up the seeds. Next year I plan to start them indoors and then transplant them outdoors once the danger of frost has passed.

Who has not suffered a delusion about the potential in a
relationship that the other did not see at all? I hope your sunflowers all become happy bouquets for grateful buyers.
