Re:

FSI, I think you are right and we've finally welcomed summer!

Re: Re:

There are several on the market, this is Kroger's own brand and the only one I've tried. Sensible Choice, I think it's called. I tried the butter pecan.

It looks like summer's finally here. I'm ready for it.

Re:

Ciel, what is the name of the Keto Ice cream?  It sounds good!

Ice cream for dinner... sensible in so many ways! In hot weather, I eat a lot of salads. But there is a keto ice cream out there, too, that is quite a nice treat!

Here's to the cool, and hurrahs for a/c!

Re:

Sea Gypsy, thank you so much!  The birdbath is awesome!  Tomorrow we will do the fountain.

It does sound too hot to cook. Your dinner idea sounds like fun. And the birdbath must be really nice. How fun! Stay cool.

Re: Summer in the Midwest - which is where we are - is one long stretch

Pat, I've been to St. Louis a few times and we went to see the arch.  It was cool.  I've never been anywhere hotter than Friendship, Arkansas.  It's about eighty miles from Texarkana.  The heat and humidity are so oppressive.  When you walk outside it's like walking into a blast furnace.  Early in the morning, we used to have to go outside and open the car windows to keep them from breaking in the heat of the day.  I hope you stay cool!

Re:

Kabu, it's a really hot day.  I think this weather pattern will continue for a few days.  I don't mind it in the 80s but the 90s is too much.

Re:

Annicita, thank you so much!  We were surprised by how open it feels without the three big trees.

Re:

C_C_T, I think I'm going to wear my mask when I cut hot peppers.  It will keep me from coughing and choking.

Re:

Corbin, how much property do you have?  I know it's hot for you!

Re: Good morning

Sassy, I saw your swimming pool and beach accessories!  I love them.  Did you order them online?  I'm going to post pictures of my birdbath and sprayer on FB.  It's beautiful!  I was sad to see the trees go but I knew they had the potential to cause trouble for my neighbors.  They were very big trees.

Summer in the Midwest - which is where we are - is one long stretch

of high heat and humidity. I'll never forget my first step off the train in St. Louis the first time I was in this part of the country. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest I had never experienced such breathtaking jungle heat. Back home, even in August, we often had to wear a light coat because of the weather - and even without air conditioning we needed blankets.  Think cool.

try to stay cool sweetie. That is much hotter than here but it is very overcast now.

Here's to a safer commute with the trees gone.

A lot of pollens around I suppose wearing a mask might be a good idea. I have started doing it if hoovering or dusty outdoor jobs. Enjoy your meal/

It's terribly hot down here in Clarks Station, KY!  Part of my property used to be the railroad station!

Good morning

Those big trees are pretty, but they can cause a lot of damage. It is good that you are cutting them for safety. Your birdbath and sprayer sound really lovely. My birds love ours. It is hot here today too, but my fairies just got a swimming pool and beach accessories, so I have to go rearrange their garden a bit. I will take some photos and post them later on FB. have a great day!
