Yes, it is a shame I suppose one has to have the older types
that do have a soft scent.
I will investigate when mine bloom. My neighbour has a brill red peony I wish I had seen it earlier

I like thinking of the little dormice being transitioned from the pocket
in sunshine and plenty. It won't always be that way for them, I'm sure, but I hope they all dance awhile...
