Re: Re: Re:

Sea Gypsy, we have to have a high fence around our garden.  We have deer everywhere.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re:

Sea Gypsy, I've learned something because I had no idea about the palm trees.  We have coyotes too.  Are the snakes around you poisonous?  I'm very afraid of snakes.  Where I'm from in West Virginia they have rattlesnakes.  I lived in Arkansas for five years and there were copperheads and cottonmouth snakes.  They are poisonous.

Re: Re: Re: Re:

They like palm trees. They especially like date palms. We don’t have date palms but the rodents are wherever palms grow, it seems. We are in a nice area but the rodents don’t know the difference between a good area and the slums. lol We also have opossums, snakes, skunks, bobcats, coyotes, and the next town over had a mountain lion. At least the bears are a ways odd I think. We are not rural but there are many open spaces for nature trail walks and such. Most people don’t realize that near the beaches of So Cal there can be wilderness also.

Re: Re: Re:

Sea Gypsy, I'm wondering why there are so many rats in your area?  I know there a lot in New York but I had no idea they would be by where you live.

Re: Re:

I only keep an herb garden. We have creatures that eat everything. I would love to have agsrden. I would need fine chicken wire around and on top of everything. The rats love it, as to rabbits, squirrels and snails.

Re: Goldiec

BC-A, believe it or not, I've never added the gnomes to my stories.  I have talking dragons, dogs, cats, fish, spiders, squirrels, birds, and many more characters but not my gnomes.

Re:

FSI, I was really surprised that the contractor came on the same day.  It's usually not like that.

Goldiec

I'll go with Sgt. Mulberry. I'm curious if the gnome characters are in your children stories.

That's great how the contractor came out quickly. That is unusual.

Re:

Sea Gypsy, I'm wishing for nice weather for you!   Are you going to have a garden this year?  I'm excited to plant some flowers.

Hope you had a nice day after the bathroom issue was fixed. Good that you had insurance. It is so good to have. Your weather has been much nicer than ours. It's been cool here, overcast and in the 60s. One day it will be nice out again.

Re: Re: Re: Yes! I love tomato sandwiches.

Sassy, I hope you get at least a few sunflowers.  Hopefully, next year's plan will work.

I enjoy fresh tomato and cheese in a sandwich or a role.

Re: Re: Yes! I love tomato sandwiches.

I am crossing my fingers where my sunflowers are concerned. Next year I plan to start them indoors where they are safe from those big furry rodents.

Re: Chilly for June. But I don't mind it. The heat gets to me.

Pat, I'm not a fan of the heat.  When it's in the '90s I'm miserable!

What a day.....so many small kids and babies all over the place....great food (Brisket)

Roy has been a busy man.

The squirrels, bunnies, and groundhogs keep digging up our sunflower seeds. We sat at the picnic table before John went to work. During our chat, we noticed that our pepper plants have baby peppers, and our tomato plants have several yellow flowers. I see lots of salads in our future.

Good morning

Had it not been for your FB post, I wouldn't have known that today was June 1. Too much brain fog.
