Don't you think that we as a nation, deserve the bounty? A huge portion of this earth fails to produce the needed produce, meat, etc!

I do believe as we become more conscious as a society that measures will go into place to help feed more people and use the food that would otherwise be wasted. I see signs of that happening little by little.

Marketing and competition between food merchants where deli and buffets are concerned cause preparation beyond customer sales. Much food is discarded in the garage. However, it might be balanced by extraordinary drives to fill the local food banks. Shop Rite supermarkets even have touch free pre packaged shopping bags for customers to purchase and donate - leaving in the food bank bin or with the cashier. It's beautiful to share and care.

My ex sister in law would actually pour anybody's leftover soup or other food from their plates back into the pots. I stopped eating their food.
