Re: CCT,

Yes, not only emotional depression, but that feeling of energy being depleted... We have, some of us, gotten into the habit of staying home in a sort of waiting mode, and it takes some oomph to get up and out into the world again.

It is fun to set up for events, and we try to keep it simple but effective. Some exhibitors have so much equipment and display stuff, it takes forever to set up and longer to break down at the end of the show. We like to be in and out with much less fuss and bother!

Re: Kabu,

What kind was the huge hanging one? I hope you found another spot for it!

Changing up the scenery is important for times of transition. I'm glad you have some help to get it done.

Re: Pat,

Yes, it is great to not have to mask up outdoors at least. In the store, though, they have one older woman, one of the owners who can't have the vaccine, and others either dubious or careless, so masks are required and will be for the foreseeable future.

Re: Goldiec,

Thanks! He's become quite good at setting up his displays, they're always attractive!

The weather was mostly good, but the pre-event advertising, not so much! The store has a new website, and it wasn't quite up to the task this time.

Perhaps folk are still getting over the virus scare. I did notice 1 in 6 have suffered some kind of depression here. Much more than some countries. A lot of work making the exhibits, but enjoyable I suspect.

next time will be better I feel sure. I just got rid of the curtains in my Kitchen and a huge hanging plant. How bright and clean my kitchen is even with smaller potted plants in the windows. (I didn't change the kitchen around, the girls did it.)

Good Afternoon

Ciel, you had a beautiful display.  I think more people would have come if the weather had been better.  I give Charlie credit because it's a lot of work to set up for these events.
