Kids used to walk the neighborhoods with lawnmowers and rakes. I miss the old days.

I worked for my parents from an early age of 10 or 11. I had to work 12 hours to get a dollar!

A lot of artificial grass around, the dry summers have been bad for lawns. It is frowned on to water grass when hose pipes are banned.

I haven't been able to find a lawn mowing service this spring.

The yard guys just want to spray some weed killer/fertilizer, charge 10 times what it would cost me to do it myself and take off. There used to be ads in the local paper, but that time is gone now. Thinking of installing astroturf.
