It is OK if one does not run into debt. I sometimes use Pay Pal. I guess there has been money lending for a long time. Amazing really how things have moved in recent years.

I use my credit card sometimes but I go home and transfer the money from my savings to the card That way I never pay interest

Credit transactions go back a long ways, I see. I remember the days before magnetic strips.

Re: BC-A, you're most likely correct.

Credit is totally abused in the modern world by maxed-out credit cards and high-interest rates that reflect bad spending habits.
