And my yard is in Colorado Springs, CO--right beneath Pike's Peak, and a little further south is Cheyenne Mountain where they keep the Stargate...

My front yard is shared with the other half of the duplex, and is mostly full of a very big blue spruce. The back yard is fenced, and not huge, but not a postage stamp, either. I'd estimate ~30x60 feet.

Ciel, Cleveland is wonderful in the Spring. It's not too hot and I like that. We have had some really hot summers and I like it a little cooler. Where you live now do you have a big yard?

Kabu, your gnomes make me laugh! They really think they can trick you and you are way ahead of them. I think Sgt. Mulberry would enjoy visiting with your gnomes. I know my gnomes have been so good ever since he arrived. I think he tires them out and then they are so tired after dinner that they go to sleep. I never realized that you had so many mosquitoes. We will get mosquitoes but they only come out at dusk.

FSI, I really hope it is a good gardening season. One year I decided to plant edible flowers and I thought they'd be nice in salads. What I didn't realize was that the bugs would like them too. After trying to keep them away I finally gave up and let the bugs win. They ate the flowers. I learn as I go.

It's a lovely season in Cleveland, when the spring comes in and the rains come a little less. I used to enjoy walking from Case Western Reserve campus up to Coventry through all the lovely old houses with their huge yards!

It is really warm here today but the mosquitoes have arrived in their billions. They do spoil being outside. Most of my Gnomes have found where they want to pretend to spend the Summer. There is a scurry of little feet to get back into position when I go outside now. I love it.As if i don't know they do all sorts of things when I am inside.

Your little folk will enjoy the sunshine. We dare not put anything outside until June but the walnut trees are in leaf and we rarely have a frost when this occurs. When Father planted them for several years they were retarded by late frosts and do seem to have learned the hard way.

Sassy, the carts with wheels make it so easy for me to move them. I just went outside and put them in the light and I will move them again in a little while. It's nice that we both have pleasant Spring days.

Lots of veggies will be beneficial to many good meals. I love how he put them in planters with wheels. Smart. It is supposed to be sunny and 70 here today. I love it! Your gnomes will be very happy frolicking about today in the sunshine.
