It seems that the Indian Variant has started to infect some in different parts of the country. I hope it can be contained. Fairly clear here At present. Big shops closing
due mainly to the Internet sales and high ground rents.

Ciel, I will be so happy to get back to life as I remember it before the pandemic. I can honestly say I tried the best that I could but the pandemic was very trying for me. I think there were times when my anxiety level went through the roof and I didn't even know I had anxiety. As far as jobs I totally agree with you and believe fair wages should be part of the new world we are living in. Cost of Living prices are going up across the board and people have to be able to pay for rent, utilities, food, child care, and whatever else is needed. The low minimum wage will not pay for the necessities of life. Thank you so much for your comment.

Agreed, it will be great to be able to go out breathing freely, seeing faces again... And many societal things that have long needed updating are going to have to change, including business paying fair wages if they want employees. Sure, there are some who just prefer not to exert themselves working, but plenty of people are hostage to low-wage jobs as better than no jobs, and that simply is unfair and wrong in such a wealthy society!

FSI, it will be so nice once we all get back to our normal lives. Our Governor said the virus is just as dangerous as it always has been but now that so many people are vaccinated they are going to start opening up bars, restaurants, amusement parks, and the list goes on and on. It will be so nice for everyone during the summer months.

Our governor says once we get to 70% of adults vaccinated, masks will be optional. We're around 65% now. I'm looking forward to it.
