Goldiec

It was rainy or drizzly here. Let the cows go out to pasture.

Re:
Kabu, I feel so bad for your friend and your daughter-in-law. I'm thankful I was able to get the Pfizer vaccines. After they gave us our shots they had us sit in a chair for about 15 minutes to make sure we were okay. We were fine and then they sent us home. I feel a lot more protected now than before I had my vaccines.

I find it sad that people are resisting the vaccine with no good reason. I have a friend who could die if she took the vaccine because she has so many allergies and the same with a D.I.L. in Australia who once went into anaphylactic shock with a flue shot. But those people are rare. They have medical people and ambulance on stand by and you are asked to wait. Some people may get a very light dose of Covid but they may spread it far and wide and assist to kill others.

Re:
C_C_T, I always get a flu shot too. We usually get them as soon as they come out in August. My doctor insists upon it. It was his idea for me to get the vaccine. His opinion swayed me more than any other. I am glad I have it now but I was worried in the very beginning. I still don't think they have all the answers. Only time will tell what variants we have to deal with and possibly we will have to get a booster every year. I'm not sure.

It is sad that some folk fear the vaccine. I always get a flu jab in the autumn so, I just did not take much notice. I would still be fairly cautious though until the new variants peter out.

Re:
Sassy, I feel the same way. I got both shots because I wanted to be protected and I wanted to protect everyone else. I'm not sure what some people are thinking. There is a lot of bad press and that might be the problem.

For whatever reason, people are not wanting to get vaccinated in our area, and apparently, it is a worldwide issue from what I have heard. I got my first shot on the 27th. I did not feel well for about three days, but I would rather feel under the weather than kill someone by passing them the COVID.
