It was always such a relief when spring came to Cleveland, in the 5 years I lived there! But autumn was my favorite time: October and Ohio were made for each other!

I hope things keep improving. It has seemed a dreary kind of existence. At least once we can get outside in the garden and watch things grow it will make a big difference

you commented to me the other day you didn't know I had been ill so I will explain. Last year beginning of february Wiley John was admitted to full time care in a really exceptionally good facility. The decision was taken out of my hands because the health care team that were helping me all said that it was time. I fell really Ill. I don't know what I had probably a type of flu maybe even Covid-19 I don't know. I was more than three months debilitated needing mostly bedrest. Trish would bring me groceries and leave them at the back door. I have never felt my old energy back to today even.

I forgot to add, as a military family, we always have a fresh flag to hang, but we keep ours up all year long. Tattered flags are turned into the VFW for proper disposal.

It is sunny here. Hope you have a great day. Today is the big day. We are headed to the dirt store and then to the woods for moss, then we are setting up the fairy garden and the gnome village.
