Yes, and it was sometimes I who was embarrassed by my dog. He was a German Shepherd and he thought his job was to be on guard at all times. He was a great dog though.

Yes, I have. I've seen pets try to hump things, which embarrassed the owner, especially when it is another person's leg for instance.
