Birdie is obviously a cat lover. Most are easy to care for, but some ignore the rules and climb on places where litter box stinky paws should never go.

Birdie and Frankie make a great team. The fear of ruining that partnership through intimacy makes sense. Once you go there it is hard to go back to just friends and co-workers.

Birdie sounds like a really interesting woman. With her interest in how people tic, she would have done well taking a course in social anthropology.

Good Morning
I like Birdie and she comes with great credentials. She's the perfect partner for Frankie. The fact Queen Isis likes her says a lot about her character.
I think Birdie being raised by an independent Mother made her the person she is today. There won't be a person in the city that can sweet-talk her. As a matter of fact, between Queen Isis and Birdie, I don't think anybody will be able to get away with anything without them knowing about it.
I love this story and can't wait to read the next chapter.
