Good Afternoon

Pat, I love your stories about your squirrels and I'm really looking forward to your new stories.  I think your stories have kept me going during this pandemic.  It's nice to be able to think of something besides COVID.

Your stories so well written and researched are such fun to read along with. You have certainly been helping me through these different times.

Re: TAPS

Facebook by design is for short shorts, pictures or opinions, etc. The need to limit things to two-paragraphs on FB isn't the best way to develop a scene or character.

Re: CCT -

There will be no bonk on the head for you today. I believe you are absolutely correct and so I keep wandering around in my mind to come up with stories that have nothing to do with the bad old days... Thank you for your insightful comments.

I'm glad you are coming here with your detective story.  I have been reading it on FB, but I like this setting better for your stories.  I feel at home here and am not as fond of FB.

It is good to have an objective, I think it rests the mind. I think Pat as we age one can feel a bit uneasy. I think some of it having a short time memory and recalling old miserable times which one hoped were forgotten. Bonk me on the head if I'm wrong.

I love your squirrel stories. They are a pleasant attraction that keeps us entertained on most days. I too give them peanuts at certain times of the day, so much so that they now know when to expect them. I fill my bird feeders first thing in the morning along with scattering peanuts around the yard. I give them another scattering of peanuts in the afternoon so that we can sit at the picnic table and watch them after the hubby gets home from work.
