Thanks so much! This one has been stirring under the surface for a while, and I thought it, might make an interesting short story, but poetry comes more easily for me and so I went with that.

I read this on FB and loved it and it stirred the memory of your "People are Planets" book of poems that you sent me so I dug it out of the bookcase and have been going through it again. You are a great poet. It also reminded me of Charlies' Raptor Snack Pack and I got it out. Looking at it reminded me that I never did share it with Phil and I know he would love it. So I have placed it on the little table beside his favorite place to sit (a rocking recliner). One of the things he does first is look to see if I have put any snacks out for him and the second thing is to look for the little stack of things I have put out for him to look through. He keeps them going the whole time he is here, never putting down the one he likes best until it is time to leave.
