All the way through this post I couldn't stop imagining what animal obscenities sounded like.

I wonder if Mellie can rescue her pup. I expect she will put up a good fight if she is desperate to save her offspring.

Good Morning

Oh no! Cece is in trouble!  She's young and Mellie is not there to warn her about the impending danger.  I sure hope she gets back up to her nest before Boots makes a sneak attack.  The acorn was very plump and soft.  It tasted so good to the little squirrel but Cece was going to have to become accustomed to the safety rules in the backyard.  Dangers were lurking nearby and safety was of the utmost importance. Run little Cece run!  Above all else, Cece don't look back!  Just Run!

Oh no! Cece had better pray that she is faster than Boots. A small squirrel is a perfect snack for a hungry cat, and her mother would never know what had become of her pup.
