I do hope your knee is doing better and that the doctor was able to help. Take care and feel better soon.

Re:
Kabu, I think all of my gnomes have learned a big lesson. The one thing I've really noticed is how much they love being here. They like their comfy beds and warm meals. I think they know I want the best for them.

Re: Cleveland's just a day's weather to the east and a bit to the north of
Pat, I've been through three tornadoes, and they are very scary. They can be so destructive. The first tornado I was ever in was when we lived in Arkansas. The second tornado was when I lived on the West Side of Cleveland and the third one was here in this house. That was a really bad one. It took all summer to clean everything up and we lost a lot of trees. We had a fence around our garden and it was destroyed in the tornado.

Much better for the Gnomes than Boot camp. I have been worrying about this tough love concept. Dear little guys....and they are pretty smart. Don't be surprised if he finds them a lot more clever than what he is. I love your Gnome stories.

Cleveland's just a day's weather to the east and a bit to the north of
that which we receive in the greater St. Louis area. I'm guessing you don't get quite as much turbulence as we do here - the first time I ever experienced a tornado watch or warning was after I moved to this area. We never had such strong winds in western Washington where I grew up - just a lot of coastal weather - overcast and rainy.

Sassy, I sure hope he's a good teacher. Thank you for saying that! I feel better about the whole teaching experience with my gnomes.

Re: Good morning!
Sassy, it's cold enough for snow in Cleveland but thankfully we didn't get any.

Good morning!
I am jumping for joy. No snow today even though it was cold enough last night for that to be a very real possibility.

I had some wind blow my cardboard around. I was up at six a.m. to use the bathroom - I get up at 8:30 a.m. on Fridays. I saw some cardboard around and was outside in the cold getting it together.
