Re: PAT
No, it is a problem, Pat. I am afraid around here it is a land shortage houses are built into back gardens etc.

No, I expect you will go home eventually. Just take it as it comes. The only way.

Yes, those folks leave flyers at the doorstep also. Sometimes they even knock on the door asking if one would consider selling. Where does one go? Good question. I liked your poem. I could even hear the pub music playing in the background.

I just love your poem about the soliciting mail one receives. I know I cannot live here in the Woods by myself for always, but until the time comes when I know I must move; I will not be pushed out.

I get a ton of junk mail from house flippers wanting to buy my home. I have no interest. I'm happy where I'm at. I feel that if the homeowner is deceased, it's good for the heirs if they want to get rid of a home that needs some work without having to go through the hassle of lots of negotiating and dealing with a real estate agency.

I don't think you'll be happy unless you can sell to someone
who will keep up with your flowers and the grounds - if and when you are ready for a change. I love the piano man poem - I could almost hear the music as I read it.

It would be a hard thing to give up.
A home filled with memories and years of collections is a real keepsake and not to be sold to the highest bidder.
